Payment Processing & Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Polar.sh. Polar is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Polar provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

When you make a purchase through Aura, you are entering into a contract with Polar, not directly with us. Polar processes all payments, handles billing inquiries, manages subscriptions, and processes refunds on our behalf. We never store or have access to your credit card information - all payment data is securely handled by Polar via Stripe in compliance with PCI DSS standards. Subscription and Payment

Aura offers both free and paid subscription plans:

  • **Free Plan**: Basic features are available at no cost
  • **Paid Plans**: Pro and Premium plans with AI features require a subscription
  • **Billing**: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance through Polar
  • **Auto-Renewal**: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • **Cancellation**: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or through Polar's customer portal
  • **Refunds**: Refunds are handled by Polar on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed
  • **Price Changes**: We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with 30 days notice
  • **Disputes**: Any billing disputes or payment issues should be directed to Polar's customer support at polar.sh

User Content and Data

You retain all rights to the financial data and information you input into Aura. By using our services, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Store and process your data to provide the services
  • Use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our services
  • Generate AI insights and recommendations based on your data

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you input and for maintaining backups of your important information.

Our AI features are designed to help you track, organize, and visualize your financial data. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS:

  • **NOT Financial, Investment, or Legal Advice**: Aura and its AI features do NOT provide financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, or recommendations that influence buying, selling, or investment decisions. Our AI is strictly informational and assists only with data organization and visualization.
  • **No Influence on Financial Health**: We do NOT provide advice on financial health, creditworthiness, debt management strategies, or any financial planning decisions. All insights are based solely on YOUR entered data and are for informational purposes only.
  • **Data Organization Only**: The AI chatbot is designed exclusively to help you track and organize your personal financial data, provide summaries of your entered transactions, answer questions about your recorded income/expenses/savings, and assist with data entry. It does NOT make recommendations or predictions about future financial outcomes.
