Welcome to Aura!
Creating your Aura account is the first step toward taking control of your financial future. This guide will walk you through the simple process of signing up and getting started.
What You'll Need
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A valid email address
- A strong password (at least 8 characters)
- Access to your email inbox for verification
Step 1: Visit the Signup Page
- Go to withaura.app
- Click the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner
- You'll be taken to the registration page
Alternatively, you can go directly to withaura.app/signup
Step 2: Enter Your Information
Fill in the registration form with:
Email Address
- Use a valid email you have access to
- This will be your login username
- We'll send a verification link here
Password
Your password must meet these requirements:
- At least 8 characters long
- Mix of uppercase and lowercase letters
- Include at least one number
- Include at least one special character (@, !, #, $, etc.)
Security Tip: Use a unique password you don't use on other sites. Consider using a password manager like 1Password, LastPass, or Bitwarden.
Name (Optional)
- You can add your name to personalize your experience
- This can be updated later in your profile settings
Step 3: Verify Your Email
After clicking "Create Account":
- Check your email inbox
- Look for an email from Aura (from support@withaura.app)
- Click the "Verify Email" button in the email
- You'll be redirected to Aura and automatically logged in

Step 4: Complete Your Profile Setup
Once logged in, you'll be guided through a quick onboarding:
1. Choose Your Language
Select your preferred language:
- English - Full app interface in English
- Bosnian - Cijeli interfejs na bosanskom jeziku
You can change this anytime in Settings.
2. Select Your Currency
Choose your primary currency for displaying financial data:
- BAM (Convertible Mark) - Default for Bosnia and Herzegovina
- EUR (Euro)
- USD (US Dollar)
- And many more...
Don't worry, you can track transactions in multiple currencies and Aura will handle conversions automatically.
3. Set Your Financial Goals (Optional)
Tell us what you want to achieve:
- Track daily expenses
- Build an emergency fund
- Save for a specific goal
- Manage investments
- Reduce debt
This helps us personalize your experience!
Step 5: Start Using Aura
Congratulations! Your account is ready. Here's what to do next:

- Change your password every 3-6 months

Troubleshooting
Can't verify email?
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Make sure you're using the correct email address
- Try resending the verification email
- Contact support if the link has expired
Forgot password?
- Click "Forgot Password?" on the login page
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for a reset link
- Create a new password
Account locked?
If you've entered the wrong password multiple times, your account may be temporarily locked for security. Wait 30 minutes and try again, or contact support.
